RIDDLES

October 18, 2009

last night my bro slept in my room. And he told me some riddles he read off the internet. Found it quite interesting, so here they are:

1) There was a king who knew he was close to his death. He wanted to choose a son to take over his palace, but he couldn’t choose between his two sons. He told his sons, “Okay sons, I want you to take your horses, ride them down to the bridge, and race back”. The sons were excited; they knew their horse was the fastest. But the king told them that their horse had to be the last one back to get the palace. The sons were confused, and left. When they got to the bridge, they were arguing about who should go first. Then, an old man hobbled up and asked what was wrong. The princes told him what the kind had said, and the old man said, “I have an idea”. He whispered in the princes’ ears, and both of them jumped on the horses and took off toward the castle. What did the old man tell the princes to make them race back like that?

2) Romeo and Juliet are found dead in a small room. The window was open, there was an overturned bowl and water was spilled on the floor. There wasn’t anything else in the room. How did they die?

hinthint: they suffocated to death.

3) What’s black when you buy it, red when u use it, grey when u throw it away.

4) The seller does not want this, the buyer does not use this, the person who uses this does not know he’s using this. what is this?
